Vice President of Sales

Extrel CMS, the world’s leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art process gas analyzers, research mass spectrometers, residual gas analyzers, and mass spectrometry components, is currently seeking a VP, Sales to oversee all aspects of sales for the Company. This individual will successfully manage the Company’s global sales organization for the industrial, research, educational sales, as well as technical support, in order to meet the objectives of the Company’s overall business plans and strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and evaluate key performance metrics; provide CBO accurate summaries and analysis of activity, results, and forecasts in accordance with the Company’s strategic plan
Coordinate the objectives of the sales plan with all functional areas of the Company
Develop and manage sales budget. Oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets
Strategize, implement, and maintain business plans to meet and increase sales and revenue objectives
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Channel Partners to understand and implement go-to market branding initiatives, product launches, and new market penetration
Assist in identifying and promoting internally new product designs and enhancements, processes, and services
Supervise all third-party distributors, representatives, and in-house direct sales representatives globally
Establish compensation plans for all in-house direct sales personnel, including commission and incentive plans
Assist distributors, representatives, and direct Company personnel as needed to ensure successful sales
Represent the Company at various community and/or business meetings, tradeshows, and networking events
Adhere to corporate policies and procedures, health and safety policies, quality standards, and laws and legal standards
Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance
Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the Company or elsewhere, subject to Company approval

Job Requirements:
Must have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering Technology
MBA preferred
Solid technical skills related to products
A minimum of ten years’ applicable global sales experience
A minimum of ten years’ experience in supervisory role
Experience with managing third-party and direct distribution with instrumentation sales is preferred
Proven success of meeting or exceeding sales goals, sales strategy and tactics
Strong business management and planning skills, including development of business plans
Ability to collect and analyze market data and identify trends and opportunities
Knowledge of contracts and negotiations, structuring sales quota goals, and revenue expectations
Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
The ability to travel at least 50%+ per year including international
