Hydro Engineering is looking to add a part time receptionist/administrative assistant to our team. We are looking to hire a person with positive, professional attitude to complement our current front office team. Currently the position will be 1 - 2 days a week, with the possibility of added hours in the future as responsibilities increase.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receives visitors and telephone calls in a pleasant and efficient manner ensuring these individuals are directed to the proper parties
  • Submits accounts payable invoices to Accounting Department
  • Distributes mail and prepares outgoing mail
  • Maintains files
  • Drafts and types standard letters and memoranda as requested and prepares documents for distribution
  • Assists in maintaining office supply inventory
  • Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid clerical expertise
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled in written and verbal communications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High School degree
