Sales Data Entry Specialist
**This is an on-site position. Remote workers will NOT be considered.**
JOB SUMMARY
- The Sales Data Entry Specialist maintains the database by entering new and updated customer/supplier related information. Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information. Establishes entry priorities. Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies. Multitasking candidate is a must as we handle a rapid environment of multinational brands that require high standard of data and customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and sorting documents for data entry
- Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted.
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- Creating data backups as part of a contingency plan
- Responding to information requests from authorized members
- Testing new database systems and software updates
- Sales order assessment (entering sage, checking accuracy)
- Purchase order full cycle (entering sage, checking accuracy, creation, place orders)
- Sales spreadsheets creation
- Creation of new items on sage and maintenance of system updates
- Contact customers regarding cuts/freshness for update.
- Send proforma to customers.
- Weekly report to check duplicated S/O’s in Sage.
- Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control.
- Damage claims with vendors
- Provide ETA -Estimated time arrival.
- Update internal Claims that have been approved by brand Manager.
- Create recaps and cut notification.
- Handle sample request
- Export documentations (CFS, C.O.O & COA)
- New tasks as they come due to changes in market, competitors, supplier’s dynamic.
- Updating all S/S’s, S/O’s, P/O’s to reflect new changes.
- Using P.O receiver to log in received date, invoice date (ship docs) update S/O or P/O if anything is different before receiving.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SPECIALIZED SKILL/KNOWLEDGE
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- Ability to work to time constraints
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Team player
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
- Microsoft tools: Excel, PPT
