Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the Auditor and Vendor Compliance Coordinator will consist of but are not limited to the following:

Perform scheduled merchandise/purchase order audits and system checks as directed
Audit & inspect all incoming merchandise to ensure compliance with TMW routing guidelines
Report discrepancies with inbound merchandise and purchase orders including but not limited to: packaging process, ASN issues, carton and/or unit discrepancies, price ticketing, mixing of class/colors and cross-dock issues
Inspect merchandise to include checking for shortages and rejecting damaged goods
Communicate and conduct vendor chargebacks
Prepares correspondence, documents and reports within requested time frame
Maintain and extract information from various databases and spreadsheets to prepare routine and ad hoc reports for management
Handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications
Provide feedback to management regarding discrepancies and recommend process improvements
Participate in inventory management
Provide support and assistance with any situation that involves the quality of merchandise
Investigate and resolve questions and issues involving merchandise quality and department processes
Implement solutions and/or strategies that are aligned with the company’s business practices
Audit production floor activities to ensure proper execution of processes and area audits
Provide guidance, training, and supervision to temporary employees with management’s discretion
Ensure employees’ compliance with policies, procedures, directives and regulations
Facilitate effective exchange of information with employees and management personnel
Operate and utilize warehouse distribution material handling equipment
Promote safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management

Skills/Abilities/Experience & Qualifications:
Prior Shipping & Receiving experience preferably in a fast-paced, high volume distribution center environment
Must have Auditing experience within a distribution/production or retail setting preferably
Demonstrated “hands-on” leadership experience supervising at least two (2) or more direct reports
Proficient software skills with Microsoft Office with intermediate to advance skills with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook (skills testing will be required)
Knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Excellent communication skills and good command of the English language (speak, read, and understand English for purposes of performing necessary job duties)
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management and all levels within the organization with a friendly and outgoing attitude
Must possess good business writing to create professional documents for management (able to write correspondence and documents effectively, clearly and correctly using correct grammar and word choice)
Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
Initiative to learn TMW business operations in the distribution center and self-motivator with willingness to take on new tasks, challenges and opportunities
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and good follow-up skills
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and good problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies
Highly motivated and high initiative to provide proactive solutions to problems
Goal-oriented and task driven to meet deadlines
Possess sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines in a time-sensitive, fast-paced team environment

Ability to work in a distribution center environment setting with a combination of clerical and production-type responsibilities
Physical demands can include continuous standing, walking, sitting, repetitive use of hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, working and reaching overhead
Ability to use equipment and machinery including sorter systems, conveyors, RF guns, box cutters, plastic bags, plastic packaging, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and packaging of our merchandise
Ability to work in all areas of the TMW distribution center and other duties assigned by management
Ability to be flexible and adapt to a changing environment (i.e.; increased hours, volume of work, changing priorities, multiple demands, staffing shortages, etc.)

Physical Demands:
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. The position requires walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through the day. The employee may reach above shoulder heights or below the waist or lift as required to store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques are required.
