The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the service department of Sweetwater Pool Service’s Residential team. Working directly with superiors, the Service Manager must oversee the hiring and training of an A-Team staff that will be capable of executing the basic obligations set forth in client service agreements. Utilizing a multitude of resources, the Service Manager will be the primary point of customer service for all existing clients and will be the front-man in client retention and acquisition. All activities directions of the service staff will be under the accountability and direct supervision of the Service Manager. The Service Manager is the backbone of the service department, providing stability and strength which promotes growth and expansion of the Residential team.

Qualifications
Primary Responsibilities

Facilitate and manage day-to-day service technician activities
Hire and train an A-team service staff
Develop and implement an effective in-field training program
Develop efficient service routes based on regional demand, customer requests, and technician availability
Procure and maintain service equipment, chemicals, and materials necessary to complete any required tasks
Develop a positive, team-focused work-place environment while cultivating individual accountability through proper procedure development and implementation
Oversee pool openings and closings
Complete minor and moderate repairs as necessary
Complete pool cleaning services and routes as needed
Parts and inventory tracking to minimize losses, duplication, and overstock
Develop positive and mutually beneficial business relationships with all current and new customers
Consistently service all pools as necessary to meet company standards for service excellence
Field customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Take part in annual training programs provided by our vendors and suppliers to gain more product knowledge and service training.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in (or similar to) Business Management OR 3+ years of experience as a Swimming Pool Service professional including at least 12 months of experience with personnel management

Legal ability to work in the United States
Criminal history must not include theft or violence related convictions
Ability to pass a drug test
A valid GA driver's license with a clear driving record

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, typing skills, and web navigation
Proficiency in communications with consumers, both oral and written
2+ years of management experience
CPO Certified
Experience with the hiring process
