The Financial Analyst will support and
provide distribution related customer service to GPS sites, USAT sites and
local USCP markets. They will prepare various detailed financial analysis
reports utilized for budget and flash preparation, prepare month-end reporting,
expense variance reports, trending evaluation, statistical metrics comparisons,
rate analysis, product profitability and capital requests.
This position will assist in the month-end
review and closing process and subsequent investigations into expense variances
from budget. They will work closely with their manager to design and provide ad
hoc, revenue, flash and trend reports, prepare journal entries, regulatory
reports and financial analysis. They will assist in developing,
documenting, and implementing procedures to improve efficiencies and balance
control procedures. Position reports to the Regional Manager of Planning and
Analysis for the region.
The successful candidate will have a
college degree, minimum of 3 years financial analyst experience, computer
literacy, excellent spreadsheet and database proficiency. Experience with
business enterprise software such as SAP/EPM/BPC is preferred.
Accounting experience is a plus.
Must be professional and have the ability
to work with minimal supervision and be able to work in a deadline driven
environment. Must communicate thoroughly and effectively with team
members and various levels of management throughout the organization.
This position will be housed in one of our local GPS offices.
Work experience in Circulation or Distribution is a plus!
