The successful candidate will be a key technical resource and will actively participate in an elite team supporting Performance Management and Developer Tooling within the organization. This must be done by going beyond simple management of capacity and scheduling, to include fostering a culture of efficiency in a multi-tenant environment, supported by tooling which both enforces data security and delivers better speed-to-market for the business.
The Performance Management Team:
Consults on Application Design
Supports Application Build and Release Tooling

This position provides the opportunity for a senior-level application system engineer to have a key role in automating the management of a rapidly expanding Ab Initio platoform service that is the core ETL product within the Bank. While Ab Inititio administration skills are desired, the focus will be providing technical solutions to the Ab Initio support team.
This individual will:
Participate in the design of the Ab Initio architecture as its use expands within Wells Fargo.
Provied product deployment solutions that comply with the regulatory, Corporate Information Security standards and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) policies.
Automate repetative administrative tasks
10+ years of application development and implementation experience
3 + years of experience supporting or designing complex ETL production environments
2+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
3+ years of Ab Initio experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of Puppet experience
3+ years of Big Data experience
3 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
Other Desired Qualifications
Have an architect’s eye
Able to diagnose issues outside SME knowledge
Willing to defend the environment
Ability to provide and work from a home office
