Job Summary:
This leader will be responsible for program managing and providing leadership to KC Marketplace activities, closely working with the Global Business Services Group, to support the K-C integrated Supply Chain transformation agenda. We are looking for an action-based, results-oriented, Senior Program Manager to support the Procurement Marketplace Team. This individual will be primarily responsible for providing day-to-day program management and leadership in developing and analyzing holistic cross global invoice processes and payments for a diverse set of spend commodities but with an emphasis on KC Marketplace purchase orders. These efforts will involve identifying and partnering with key senior stakeholders to develop and drive strategies, build consensus and alignment, and advise and influence (where appropriate) on sourcing strategies that leverage procurement to best serve the consumer.

Additionally, this role will lead and support processes, procedures, performance metrics, and technology and organizational elements, with an eye towards continual improvement in these areas. Expectations will include key procurement activities with stakeholders, stage gates reviews, KC Marketplace spend transaction and analysis, KC Marketplace reconciliation (including invoice approvals and responding to notifications), requirements planning, risk management, market analysis, strategy development, contracting, supplier management, cost savings evaluation and reporting, and performance reporting. This leader will utilize procurement operational excellence skill-set that drives improvement of preferred purchasing / transaction methods, payment methodology and working capital.

Finally, this role will help to lead, develop, and mentor junior team members within the Procurement organization.

Key Relationships:
Reports to: Senior Director Procurement, Marketing and Professional Services.
Direct Reports: Individual contributor that leads projects and manages matrix relationships.
Closely works with the Global Business Services Group and works across the matrix of all K-C business units globally.

Identifying and prioritizing key procurement opportunities within the connected KC Marketplace and develop strategies that translate into actionable plans to realize Total Value Creation.
Collaborate effectively across the matrix of the business unit teams and stakeholders (specifically our Global Business Services Group) to achieve targets for KC Marketplace in reconciliation, invoicing and notification resolution to drive maximize internal / external collaboration and innovation, etc.
Support the Global Sr. Director of Procurement, Marketing and Professional Services and KC Marketplace leader in efforts to increase influenced spend across the full marketplace, and integrate sourcing into business decision making with our stakeholders.
Guide, support, and mentor procurement colleagues and train any assigned direct or indirect reports on strategic sourcing concepts and implement sourcing leading practices.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years of professional experience with proven track record; Consumer Goods Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and/or Marketplace experience is preferred.
Demonstrated Project Management and Leadership skills, and solid track record of partnering with senior executives and their teams.
Adding personal insight, galvanizing discussion and debate across the stakeholders on key strategic issues, generating ideas and creative frameworks, and using a combination of facts, judgment, and personal impact to build credibility and influence outcomes.
A demonstrated history for driving real, tangible impact in past Procure to Pay efforts.
Ability to adapt quickly and work on an international basis in mixed teams.
General financial skills/knowledge, including basic understanding of P&L, and budgeting.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications: including advanced level Word and Excel; intermediate level PowerPoint.
A strong desire to make a real, bottom-line difference for KC and our internal stakeholders.
Working jointly with the K-C Supply Chain Leadership Team and others in making presentations to senior management, and key external constituencies on strategic matters.
