DRG Professional Services is currently seeking a Human Resources Compensation & Benefits Specialist to support the world's leading independent aerospace product finishing company in the Woodlands, TX. Responsible for a wide range of human resource functions with an emphasis on benefit programs for personnel. Ensures that all HR and benefits functions are uniformly applied and operate within laws, policies and guidelines established. Ensures that company personnel are well informed of human resource benefits and programs. Provides assistance to area personnel in all benefits areas, including but not limited to, health and life insurance, wellness and retirement, PTO/time off policy. Is liable for the complete and accurate execution of these functions.

This is a full-time position located in The Woodlands, TX.

Responsibilities

The Responsibilities of this role are:
Administers daily tasks regarding all Company benefit programs, including health and life insurance by maintaining enrollment, termination and modifying employee benefit coverage. Utilizes HRIS system (Paychex) to gather and review information in order to complete tasks.
Handle input and manage ACA reporting duties.
Assists with annual open enrollment process for group health insurance and related programs. Reviews, inspects, completes, and follows up on all enrollment related processes and notifies personnel of missing and/or additional information requirements.
Ensures all necessary benefits material is available for distribution, including insurance packets (summaries of plans), wellness manuals and plan specifics, along with necessary enrollment forms.
Acts as the primary contact for COBRA administration, including working with third party vendor to maintain compliance and accurate records. Ensures all data entry (new hire notifications and terminations/Qualified Beneficiaries letters) and reporting via the COBRA vendor's website is valid and correct.
Assists in the performing of random audits of employee insurance elections, as well as all associated documents related to insurance administration.
Routinely assists the VP HR with any and all requests and duties pertaining to payroll and new hire processes.
Prepares and updates salary surveys requested throughout the year. Consults with internal management and HR to arrive at pertinent data for inclusion in surveys.
Ensures that all personnel needs are satisfied and that employees and managers are informed of programs and policies.
Assists HR personnel and provides ongoing support on training, benefits, and other ongoing HR programs and initiatives.
Keeps HR management informed of areas activities and of any significant concerns. Escalates matters promptly as needed.
Assists in reconciling invoices for premium payment of employee health, life and disability benefits, as well as all other HR department invoices.
Prepares and sends birthday and anniversary monthly list to Exec team for posting on the company intranet. Assists with posting.
Maintains terminated employee spreadsheet.
Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Human Resources or Business

Experience: 2 plus years of experience in HR and Benefits Administration

Experience with Ultimate Software (Ultipro)

Computer Skills: Highly proficient in MS Office

Familar with various HRIS Databases
