JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Manager, Marketing
SUPERVISORY ROLE: Yes
Reed Construction is looking for a highly motivated Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing Department. The ideal candidate role will work with various departments across the company so the successful incumbent will have a strong focus on collaboration and problem solving.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for project management and execution, events, brand collateral and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have in-depth marketing/communications strategy, innovation, implementation, and analysis experience. This person will be responsible for developing and executing all marketing communications programs to support the corporate strategic direction.
The Marketing Manager will be able to successfully:
Work directly with project teams to develop responses to RFQs and RFPs, and help with client interview materials and preparation
Actively plan and execute efforts to promote REED through advertising, public relations activities, and media outreach
Execute outreach campaigns, including email blasts, direct mail, and other initiatives
Develop and create written content, graphic designs, production of internal and external communications and other marketing collateral
Oversight of all internal and external events
Effectively use graphic design skills (Adobe Products – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) to create brand collateral to elevate the Company brand
Create social media campaigns and post on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Maintain company website and make standard updates
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners which may include: Work with the Project Managers to design client-based communication
Implementation of the Marketing strategy – including campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR
Work closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
Ensuring that marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team
Work closely with ops team to define marketing materials and proposals
Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives
Offer expert advice on advertising, PR, social media and events
QUALIFICATIONS / KSAs
Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness. Customer/ client focused. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work. Keen critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills. Strong communicator – both verbally and in writing. Takes initiative; goes beyond assigned duties.
EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field. Equivalent experience may substitute bachelor’s degree in some cases
Maintain appropriate transparency of business development activities with the Executive Team to ensure an objective review of methodology, metrics and ratable results
Support and facilitate the development of organizational financial goals, objectives and metrics
7+ years of experience working knowledge of Adobe Platforms (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Construction industry knowledge preferable
Ability to handle multiple demands while keeping a positive and results-focused attitude
Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills
Ability to build effective working relationships and interact with senior management and key partner groups
Must possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
TRAVEL, WORKING CONDITIONS/OTHER
This is a full-time position and may require some travel to local networking and after hour off site events. The working conditions will primarily be in a typical office environment, at times occasional project site visits may occur.
