SoundEarth Strategies Inc., a privately held environmental consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced HR professional to work with our team of Scientists, Geologists, and Engineers. We provide responsive, client-oriented results in the areas of remediation, due diligence, stormwater and air quality compliance services, hazardous material surveys, greenhouse gas reporting, and sustainability services.

The Human Resources Manager will work with the Leadership Team to champion the firm’s culture and values to help build, grow, and retain staff. This hands-on, HR Generalist role will be responsible for the leadership and execution of a variety of functions including; recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits management, training and development, employee relations, and staff engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Communication or related area;
  • 10+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, preferably in a professional services environment supporting technical teams;
  • Proven ability to deliver effective HR solutions and manage HR processes;
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills;
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws;
  • Coaching, consulting, and mentoring entry level up to senior level managers;
  • Solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
