Position Summary
This individual will report to the Director of Finance and assist in the financial planning and analysis process. Additionally, s/he will help coordinate the Company’s annual audits, budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. S/he will provide special financial consulting and strategic support to management including financial analysis, industry comparison and other projects requested by senior management. Roles and Responsibilities Manage monthly financial statement preparation and coordination of internal reporting Assist in the creation of annual budget and five-year planning over multiple departments Effectively communicate financial analyses and results to management Assist Director of Finance, CFO in managing financial modeling globally and on a department level Assist with NFL and other required annual and periodic financial audits and reports Assist Accounting Manager with monthly financial reporting for consolidation and external reporting Communicate with department heads on financial results and projections Support finance & operational staff to identify and solve business problems, support strategic growth initiatives and help improve operating results Monthly review of Salaries and benefits entries and accounting Regular review and reconciliation of event entries (Sporting events, concerts, private events, etc.) Complete ad hoc analysis and other projects as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of Big 4 experience or 5+ years’ experience at the manager level of an accounting department Preferred experience with stadium/entertainment accounting and reporting Experience with treasury accounting preferred Great Plains and Adaptive experience a plus CPA preferred Required Skills Use of good judgment, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style Demonstrate high integrity, tact, and a positive attitude Strong communication, time management and organizational skills Knowledge of financial reporting and presentation, finance, budgeting, and cost control principles Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections Proficiency in decision making, analysis and entrepreneurial strategic thinking Demonstrate ability to be value-added business partner with peers and senior executives Strong Excel skills and Windows-based finance system knowledge Proven ability to concurrently perform multiple assignments and manage projects on strict deadlines under pressure Must be able to maintain confidential information Maintain flexibility in work schedule to support events as needed
