Overview

The clinical manager is responsible for the implementation of the Rising Star Autism Center (RSAC) treatment programs to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), under the guidance of the Clinical Director. The Clinical Manager oversees the delivery and data collection of the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) procedures, assists in the implementation and design of individualized programs, and provides direct supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians and Certified Behavioral Technicians. Additionally, they will assist with administrative and clinical tasks as requested by the Program Director. The Clinical Manager reports to the Program Director for each client’s program.

The Clinical Manager minimum qualifications and requirements include:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Certificate
  • 3+ years experience delivering ABA to children with autism
  • Staff management experience
  • Leadership responsibilities / skills
  • Documented experience and training in data collection and data-based decision making within behavioral/educational/social skills programming
  • Understanding and experience with VB-Mapp / SSIS / Vineland assessments

Clinical Manager Job Duties (including by not limited to):

  • Design and Update individual program plans as needed
  • Manage Instructional Program Implementation Process
  • Develop programs based on client objectives
  • Collect and Analyze Data
  • Partners with Clinical Director to manage Positive Behavior Support Plan process as needed
  • Assist Director in managing Staff Training and Development
  • Provide field supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)/Certified Behavior Technicians (CBT) as required for cases
  • Assist with performance evaluation of RBT/CBT with regard to implementation of plans
  • Communicate client progress with Clinical Director and Parents
  • Assist Clinical Director with data analysis and report writing as required by insurance companies
  • Conduct and Score Assessments
  • Produces progress reports and treatment plans to meet the requirements and submission timelines of regulatory agencies and funding sources
  • Support staff in meeting productivity requirements

Other Position Responsibilities:

  • Must attend staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings as requested.
  • Responsible to complete additional job duties as assigned by Clinical Director or Executive Director.

  • Maintain BCBA status and Certified Counselors Status
  • Assist in maintaining preferred provider status with insurance companies
