PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Events & Nightlife Promoter is to market and promote assigned venues and events by effectively spreading approved information about it to potential customers. The essential function of the position is to increase venue attendance and build a loyal following via flyer distribution, networking, intelligent social media marketing, guest list submission, ticket sales and assistance where required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with sales, promotions, and the marketing team, utilizing interpersonal skills that connect with a range of people inside and outside of the organization.
Monitor websites, ticketing systems, and social feeds for all event and pricing updates, availability, and messaging while communicating effectively in a timely manner to guests and employees on availability and promotions.
Comply with marketing/promotion schedules and adhere to long-term sales plans for the development of existing and future customer databases.
Promote all management-approved comps, specials, drink tickets, wristbands, flyers, and promotional passes/products to guests and their network of promoters.
Attend all applicable training, meetings, pre-shifts, check-ins, outreach, and promotions.
Constantly review table and guest list reservations and update management.

Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
PREFERRED:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, networking, or related field.
Previous experience working in a similar resort/nightlife setting.
