It is the responsibility of the Warehouse Receiving Clerk to perform a variety of tasks related to the successful processing of product delivered to the warehouse, including delivery scheduling, accurate receiving, preparing product for the put-away function, and picking merchandise for release. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Attend Model Room previews to become familiar with project product.
Manage delivery schedule. Apply judgment when scheduling based on product, size, volume and current delivery docket. If necessary, discuss with management scheduling concerns.
Review the Purchase Order (PO) to understand what to expect once the product arrives for off-loading.
Create identification labels in advance of delivery allowing for immediate tagging of product, if applicable.
Responsible, at the time of delivery, to inspect and count all products being offloaded. Reconcile physical counts to drivers Bill of Lading (BOL) and note any discrepancies. Inspect for in-transit damage and document on BOL as well as the packing slip and all warehouse documents. Open any damaged product, take pictures, and notify all parties related to the PO.
Update warehouse inventory system generating receiving documents and identification labels while considering both invoice and pick requirements. Tag product for storage.
Record products physical storage location by entry of moves or transfers into the warehouse inventory system.
Generate pick orders for product leaving the warehouse, which may include daily/weekly manifests.
Each day email receivers, run required reports, file warehouse documents and ensure that the warehouse database has been properly backed up.
Keeps management informed of all pertinent information related to the warehouse and report any irregularities or problems as they occur.
Ensure that all outbound shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and freight bills are prepared in accordance with shipping standards.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Answer incoming phone calls.
Perform other job related duties as requested.

At least 2 years of previous experience.
Knowledge in computer programs including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, Outlook and inventory applications.
Ability to prioritize work load, work well with others as well as being able to work independently.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
