Since 1966 Dandelion has been offering quaility fashion focused designer jewerly to empower women, while also supporting communities in our own backyard and abroad. We carry some of today's hottest designers like Chan Luu, Uno de 50, Polly Wales, Anne Sportun and many more. Original pieces from craftspeople from North America and around the world round out the selection we offer. We buy just a handful of any one piece, therefore offering customers a one of a kind selection. We stay abreast of contempory jewelry trends, and supplement our jewelry line with accessories such as handbags.

About The Position

This position requires a 30 hour per week commitment.

Candidates for this postiion should have 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, or similar for a small hands-on company. Must be willing to travel to store locations as needed for supervision, but will be based in person with the direct supervisor.

The Marketing Coordinator must have a grasp of the entire brand and be able to implement didgital and physical promotions based on the brand identity and overall sales goals determined quarterly.

Management:
Create and drive a quarterly marketing plan in tandem with management
Work directly with management to identify goals and priorities for upcoming quarters:
Identify holiday promotions
Identify sales goals for each store
Strategic Planning
Identify quarterly/monthly events
Create content and promotional calendar to guide seasonal efforts

Social Media:
Maintain and manage daily social media engagement and interactions (comments, questions, posts)
Respond to questions
Proactively post content and products
Consistently post (2x weekly) to accounts timely content
Oversee on-site social posting - enable store managers to post on their own, following certain guidelines
Oversee 'live' or other dynamic content on-site during events
Ensure employees are using social best practices when posting

Creative Content:
Oversee content creation from stores:Product Photography:
Gather product photos from in-store contacts
Shoot product photos according to brand style, as needed
Edit, optimize, adjust photo content to meet quality standards
Design Updates
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required
Work with brand templates and elements to create monthly / seasonal updates to creative content:
Seasonal web banners and social graphics
Sales web banners and social graphics
Edit and modify existing graphics, templates, and creative collateral
Business card updates
Promotional postcard updates
Reprints and production of brand collateral

Website:
Update website with news content
Write and edit monthly blog posts regarding products, events, and/or trends in the industry, to add to keyword base and ongoing SEO
Write and update website content (product copy, descriptions, etc.) as needed
Update Products
Manage Shopify account to ensure website product catalog remains up to date
Update Images in Website Header
Change design to coincide with specials or seasonal sales

Email:
Work with Mailchimp template to send monthly email
Promotional-focused email sent monthly to drive traffic to site
Manage email contacts
Gather contacts from stores or in-person interaction
Add all contacts to email list, keep list up to date with all subscribers and previous customers

Advertising

Manage digital advertising and targeting of ideal audience, to increase click-throughs to website and online orders.
