C.O.W.M. INC. is a fast-paced Asian food & beverage wholesaler looking for a dedicated USDA Facility Operations Manager to join our growing team! The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 5:00am - 3:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Administrative task of USDA compliance / HACCP program
- Scale our dumpling factory operations from startup phase, to fully operational, maximum capacity of the facility
- Recruiting and training of employees
- Daily management of all employees on premises (10-20)
- Product management, packaging and design, UPCs, etc
- Inventory management
- Vendor management (both product, and everything else)
- Purchase order management and coordination
- Facility management and maintenance. Daily cleaning of machines and facilities. One machine that runs it all.
- Process management (we will help create processes, you tweak to perfection)
- ERP software management
- Coordination of inter-facility operations between your USDA facility and the other COWM locations (e.g. inventory transfers)
Requirements
- High levels of organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Superb leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to effectively use computer softwares
- Basic mechanical knowledge and/or experience overseeing machinery in manufacturing environment
- Proven USDA compliance / HACCP program work experience as Operations Manager in a warehouse environment (or similar role)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary of $80,000 (paycheck paid every 2 weeks)
- Year-end bonus / compensation raise possible (after 1 yr)
- Once settled in, you will have a high level of autonomy.
- After a 3-month probationary period:
