E-Learning and Instructor-Led Instructional Designer

Overview
An Instructional Designer with CMOE will design and develop world-class e-learning, instructor-led, and blended training programs for CMOE clients. The candidate must have the ability to diagnose and analyze client requirements as well as design and produce high-quality content and programs using foundational instructional design principles and with multiple delivery modalities.
CMOE is known for delivering high-impact learning experiences that drive performance improvement, behavior change and improved bottom-line results, so Instructional Designers must have the ability to incorporate learning approaches that engage learners in immersive learning experiences. Instructional Designers must be able to work collaboratively with CMOE clients, the sales team, and Senior Instructional Designers. It is essential that candidates have the ability to work on multiple projects at a time in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
Design and build e-learning training, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
Create engaging learning experiences that meet the highest of standards.
Understand and incorporate best practices and adult-learning methodologies.
Work collaboratively and build strong professional relationships with subject matter experts, clients, and key stakeholders.
Build needs assessments and analyze the data to create training content that aligns with desired outcomes.
Write and edit learning objectives and supporting content for global audiences.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
Approach instructional design and formatting with creativity, care and attention to detail.
Partner with and work under the direction of Senior Instructional Designers and facilitators.
Shift priorities with resiliency and flexibility.
Support the sales and marketing team with building and editing supporting resources and material.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Education, or a related field of study
Experience in e-learning, instructional design, or related position
Experience with Articulate 360, or similar authoring tool
1-5 years of e-learning instructional design or similar experience
Ability to manage projects, deadlines and competing priorities effectively
Fierce commitment to the highest levels of customer service to client organizations
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent interpersonal-relations and communication skills
Successful track record in completing multiple projects and managing multiple priorities
Individual initiative and strategic awareness
Hard working and self-directed
Able to work in a team environment
Ability to respond to feedback and be highly accountable for results
Video and audio editing skills, preferred
Graphic design skills, preferred

Compensation
- $40,000-$50,000 (depending on experience)
