Reports To: Varies by location

Primary Functions: Development and support computer applications to accomplish business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop proficiency in programming, testing and debugging computer software and processes.
Translate client and service requirements into application software.
Develop and maintain automated basic applications that improve operating efficiency and quality control.
Assists in developing project plans and control activities based on satisfying client and service requirements.
Develop and maintain application and systems documentation.
Provide input to client documentation and training.
Provide input to project status reports.
Develop knowledge of current and emerging applications, technologies and standards through continuing education, reviewing technical publications, and participating in professional associations.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results.
Education: Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Equivalent technical training.

Experience/Skills: Three years related work experience in the development and maintenance of applications preferred. Previous experience with application development and analysis. Limited experience programming languages such as VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, C# and JAVA as well as common programming utilities used in a Microsoft or J2EE environment. Strong communications and interpersonal skills required. Experience with financial environments desired.
