Project / Program Manager

We're currently looking for an exceptional project manager that will advance our mission to enable everyone, everywhere to easily capture, share and experience video content. This position can be remote depending on experience. We take pride in providing superior product experiences to our customers throughout the world. At Screencast-O-Matic, we strive to deliver video creation, editing, and sharing software that is easy and fun to use, and our product team is critical to realizing that mission.

What you will do

  • Work with internal and external teams to document business requirements, identify technical options, create recommendations and document functional/technical specifications
  • Facilitate scoping and planning work based on requirements for features/products/projects
  • Identify functional interdependencies to minimize risk and optimize project outcomes
  • Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Create and manage a cross team project plan for major dev initiatives
  • Run appropriate agile process through project completion
  • Work with key customers to implement features that consider their workflows
  • Communicate across teams on goals, requirements, timelines, roles and dependencies.
  • Drive project team meetings and communicate project status
  • Do all the above incorporating lightweight processes built for agility and time2market


Must Have:

  • 5+ years leading multi-functional, consumer facing technical projects or programs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data driven technical recommendations and decisions
  • Ability to map dependencies and resources
  • Understanding of how the web works and its underlying communication protocols
  • Experienced with SDLC and Agile/Scrum development processes and practices
  • Experience building and maintaining highly scalable, high availability applications
  • Working knowledge of modern web technologies and development, security, deployment, and testing
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively and positively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Advanced critical thinking skills
  • A passion for working with consumers and businesses to help them achieve their goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to align, influence and drive results without formal authority
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication and can track and summarize development progress
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Good to Have:

  • PMP, Scrum or Agile Certification
  • Software Development Experience
  • Previous experience working on SAAS platforms
  • Experience with eLearning
