We are currently searching for an Assistant Director for our At-Home Independent Care (AHIC) department. The successful candidate will be expected to:
Provide administrative support and oversee AHIC in the absence of the Program Director;
Manage the interviewing, hiring, training and supervision of Schedulers, Administrative Assistant and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs);
Interact in a professional manner with all AHIC customers, including individuals receiving AHIC services, PCAs and AHIC colleagues;
Act as a back-up to the Schedulers which may including evening/weekend on-call coverage;
Oversee daily operations of the department and answer programmatic and system inquires;
Assist the Program Director to ensure the program is operating in a fiscally sound manner;
Manage and process weekly payroll for all PCAs using RCIL’s payroll and scheduling systems;
Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure all necessary documentation is in place for billing purposes; and
Assist the Program Director with annual evaluations, employee performance issues and counseling.

Who may be considered:
Successful candidates will have at least one (1) year of supervisory experience and two (2) years of experience working with people with disabilities and/or non-profit organization. Experience with finances, grants, management, Licensed Home Healthcare Agency rules and regulations is preferred.
A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is Human Services or Business Management is required.
Knowledge of community services, networking and supervision is required.
Candidates will be expected to provide excellent customer service, superior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication, typing, problem solving, flexibility, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and uphold confidentiality at all times. The ability to supervise a large group of staff, coach, train and provide disciplinary action is required.
