  • Taking and obtaining x-rays requested.
  • Making sure all films are clearly marked for patient name, date of birth, and the date the films were taken
  • Place, obtain and complete each order in EHR as requested by physician or CMA
  • Place orders through Mobilex as requested by physician or CMA for SNF patients
  • Complete daily log for each patient to include patients name, ordering doctor, techs initials, exam, views, films and repeats with reason if applicable
  • Make sure all lead aprons are used and stored properly
  • Maintain all equipment in proper working capacity with daily cleaning performed and logged
  • Ensure that rooms are properly stocked
  • Daily machine warm-up if applicable and record daily
  • Print surgery films for doctors as needed
  • Assist with Document Management filing
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Operate C- Arm for pain management / OR procedures as needed where technologist licensing permits


  • Current SCQRSA certification
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Computer proficiency
  • Exhibit professional demeanor with both internal and external customers
  • Work under pressure with a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Orthopedic/general medical terminology
  • ARRT Certified or ARRT registry
