The role is focused on digital and is responsible for strategic planning, partner selection, pre/post campaign setup, tactical execution, and measurement. The person in the role is also expected to supervise a group of digital sups and provide guidance to senior and junior associates working across the overall integrated strategy team. The role works closely with the analytics team to maintain quality control of the media campaigns in market and continually evaluate and improve performance against client goals.

Essential Functions

Develop digital media strategies and tactical approach
Measures media performance at all stages to ensure original objectives are being met
Provide media expertise, share media knowledge and provide continuous feedback
Train and mentor junior planners on best practices of online media planning/buying
Assign and manage workload of junior media planners
Work closely with publishing partners to build and maintain relationships
Recommends targeted, innovative media vehicles consistent with media strategies
Partners with Analytics, Ad Ops, Creative teams
Provides strategic insights for weekly client reports
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field (business, marketing, advertising)

Work Experience:
Eight to ten years of experience in media planning including 3 years supervisory experience required
Five+ years of hands-on digital media experience in search, programmatic, social highly preferred
Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing junior staff
Experience working on streaming, e-commerce, or entertainment accounts is preferred

Skills:
Proven knowledge of online planning and research tools and resources
Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: DCM
Experience with Prisma media management tools
Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
Proven experience in writing and presenting relevant information to client audience

Work Environment:
This role is required to work on-site or at the client site as applicable
