Full Job Description
The Department of Neurology is recruiting for a Program Coordinator II.
Research Coordination: Performs all necessary research functions for assigned grant(s), i.e. study start-up and implementation; data management; acts as additional liaison between PI/study staff; provides assistance in IRB audits; assist in financial and budgetary items; and aids other research staff with any additional needs, as necessary. Must be able to travel if required by the assigned protocol and flexible with schedules.
Marketing/outreach: Establishes, maintains, and develops marketing strategies to reach target populations and retain enrolled participants.
Recruitment: Recruits, screens, and schedules participants for study visits. Must be able to demonstrate prior experience and success with recruiting older adults and patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment into observational longitudinal studies and/or clinical trials with a significant neuroimaging component.
35% - Establishes, maintains, and develops marketing strategies to reach target populations and retain enrolled participants. - (Essential)
35% - Recruits, instructs, and coordinates research subjects, as appropriate to specific study objectives and work scope. Coordinates the day-to-day activities of any technical support staff specifically engaged in the carrying out of research/clinical protocol, as appropriate to the position; may perform aspects of research protocol, as required, in accordance with specified program objectives. - (Essential)
15% - Plans and coordinates the initiation of research study protocol, and the establishment of operating policies and procedures. Plans, implements, and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol; may coordinate the collection and analysis of research data. Ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities; acts as the primary administrative point of contact for internal research staff. - (Essential)
10% - Prepares spreadsheets and other related documents as needed by the PI/Investigators. Coordinates and leads project/lab meetings. - (Essential)
5% - Assists the PI/Investigators and study staff with consenting subjects and maintaining adherence to regulatory procedures. - (Essential)
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree and two years relevant program experience.
