About the job
Working closely with the senior leadership team for Google’s Devices and Services, the General Manager, Google Store will set the vision and design for our online store experience, while scaling Google’s online footprint across multiple hardware products, services, and geographies. In this role, you will focus on creating a unique, immersive discovery, education, and purchase experience, developing a digital commerce platform to showcase our Google brand experience with our innovative products and services. You will also create a destination for consumers to have a memorable shopping experience brought to life.
As the General Manager, Google Store, you will be responsible for the development of talent within the organization in order to ensure that a robust pipeline of skilled leaders is available to meet the expected growth of the organization and the business.

Build Google's e-commerce platform to be an "experience" - a destination for customers to browse and consume content, and be more than a transactional site.
Drive growth and results for the overall e-commerce business, including channel development, online experiences, and collaboration of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to execute on e-commerce business objectives.
Develop long- and short-term strategies to expand Google's e-commerce footprint globally, bringing novel solutions to key challenges in international markets.
Define and execute on a digital commerce capabilities roadmap, leveraging data and analytics to identify key factors in optimizing the online shopping experience and driving customer engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Retail, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Creative, IT, Customer Service and Operations to optimize processes, and to drive online sales, sales channel insights, and local market knowledge.
