BAE Systems in St. Mary's, GA, is seeking an experienced Logistics/Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of a large ISO 9001:2015 certified warehousing and physical distribution operation. Duties include, but are not limited to: Physical distribution of Strategic Weapons related material to include explosives, Nuclear Weapons Related Material, Sensitive and Classified items and various other commodities of materials. Inventory management of over 24,000 line items valued at over $250 Million including Shelf Life, Classified, Explosives, Hazardous, Missile Support Equipment, as well as general supply items. Prepare and present various documents including metrics, point papers as requested by Senior Management and the Customer. Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management and the customer on impacts to operations based on changes to guidance and documentation. Work closely with government representatives to quickly resolve problems incurred as a result of Navy ERP defects and heat tickets. Manage a staff of approximately 20 employees through two supervisors to ensure that both company and customer requirements are met. Coordinate actions such as performance reviews, personnel development and disciplinary actions with Human Resources.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Minimum of 10 Years Experience in Naval Logistics to include: Audits and Inspections, Inventory Management, Physical Distribution of goods both Local and Off Station, Hazardous Material Management, Precious Metals, MTIS, Reparable Tracking, Classified Material Management, DRMO, and General Warehousing.
Experience managing budgets and forecasting future requirements
Experience with various Material Handling Equipments and Practices
Ability to analyze and interpret changes to governing documentation (Naval/DoD Publications, Instructions and Manuals) and provide a summary of the changes and their impact to personnel at all levels of the organizational structure when required
Experience auditing, writing and revising instructions, procedures and desk guides
Experience applying Operational Risk Management to varying circumstances ranging from financial through personnel safety
Ability to generate and present information to customers, senior management and high ranking military personnel
Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers
Experience managing a diverse staff of employees and providing performance counseling and problem resolutions
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook to create, distribute and present functional spreadsheets, graphs, presentations and various types of correspondence
Submarine logistics or Strategic Weapons Systems experience
