What you will do
- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Innovate and oversee the sales process to attract new clients;
- Conduct outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities;
- Self-generate leads by researching potential clients and staying informed about industry developments;
- Identify and research opportunities in both new and existing markets;
- Client Relationship Management:
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions;
- Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients;
- Develop rapport with key decision-makers;
- Translate proposals into ready-to-sign contracts;
- Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations on custom software design and development to potential clients;
- Customize proposals based on each client’s specific business needs;
- Networking and Conferences:
- Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to expand your network;
- Represent our company professionally during in-person interactions;
- Sales Lifecycle Ownership:
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to kick-off.
Must haves
- Proven track record of closing deals/meeting a quota of $4M to $10M+ in software development/ digital services per year;
- Manage a monthly/yearly quota of revenue generation (mix of self-generated leads/prospecting and existing account growth);
- A sound understanding of software development terminology, platforms, tools, and overall landscape required to engage customers and close sales in the US (4-6+ years of professional experience);
- Great storytelling and presenting, and active listening skills;
- Experience in prospecting through email, LinkedIn, phone and networking, generating and pursuing leads and opportunities;
- Experienced in partner management, technology sales, business development, and/or consulting/professional services with a history of developing and leading strategic partnerships;
- Ability to travel to meet with clients up to 50% of the time;
- Highly independent with natural networking skills and self-motivated with the ability to proactively seek out solutions and opportunities;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to Haves
- Experienced in selling custom software development, Cloud Migration (GCP, AWS, Azure), IT consulting, or digital transformation;
- Expertise in one (or more) of the industries: FinTech, HealthCare, eCommerce, Big Data, or other;
- Experience with selling global technology services (Latam, Europe, India etc).
