Operations Lead/Drone Pilot

Thomas Elevated Ag, LLC is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual to lead our operations team and flight crew. This person must have the ability to stay organized, see what needs done and communicate with customers and team. This position must be able to adapt and overcome various scenarios such as long hours, weather, and customer sales interaction. This position starts immediately and has potential for full-time work.
Requirements:
- Obtain the following: FAA Part 107 License, Class III Airmen's Medical, IA/IL Commercial Aerial license, Valid driver’s license.
- Ag or technology education/experience preferred, agronomy degree a plus
- Must have good communication and technical skills
- Must be a self-motivated problem solver with a desire to lead
- The nature of the business may require extended hours and lifting over 50 pounds
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage time and tasks
- In charge of day-to-day operations of T-50 DJI and XAG Ag drones. Become “drone expert”
- Train and lead the summer intern crew
- Scout and map fields and identify problem areas with Mavic Drone
- Create, read and interpret maps to locate specific fields and field borders
- Record and document all applications in accordance with federal and state guidelines
- Perform maintenance on all equipment
- Assist with drone dealership
- Help with product sales, delivery and manage product inventory
- Interact with customers on a professional level
- Be able to work as a team and promote the ag industry
- All other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
