POSITION SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Health Information Manager in maintenance of the health information records.

Accurately and timely assembles resident records into respective electronic and paper files.
Closes, files, stores, and destroys records per regulations and Covenant Care's policies.
Follows Covenant Care's auditing guidelines and accurately completes audit support, as assigned.
Provides required documentation needed for triple-check and accurately completes work, as assigned.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with current HIPAA , Privacy and Security Laws; access and release of information practices.
Minimum Requirements
Must have previous experience in a Health Information Department in a health care facility.
