This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in the legal field, corporate law and the offshore/mutual fund business. Primary responsibilities include: corporate organizational matters related to Putnam and its U.S. subsidiaries, such as drafting resolutions, consents and other materials for approval and maintaining the corporate records and files for such subsidiaries; assisting with corporate transactions such as investments, joint ventures, financing arrangements and acquisitions; reviewing corporate procurement contracts; annual offshore product maintenance including the updating of prospectuses and other required documents in various international jurisdictions; managing and coordinating activities associated with new product launches and coordinating registration of established products in new countries; partnering internally for the coordination of annual shareholder meetings and Board of Directors meetings (and related proxy filings); working closely with outside service providers, internal Putnam teams and outside counsel to facilitate the production, filing, translation and distribution of prospectuses, shareholder reports, proxy statements, client notice letters and other documents. Please note this is a non-attorney position.

Primary responsibilities:
For U.S. subsidiaries, draft resolutions, consents and various other materials for director and officer review, approval, signature, etc.; and maintain the corporate records and files for such subsidiaries.
Assist with corporate transactions such as investments, joint ventures, financing arrangements and acquisitions.
Review corporate procurement contracts
Process transfer requests from investors in private equity funds, ensure that all necessary documentation is received and anti-money laundering checks are done and present requests to directors for approval

Minimum Qualifications:
Ideal candidates would have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least three years of experience as a paralegal in financial services OR N-1A updating experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Solid organizational skills
Attention to detail extremely important
Interest in corporate legal matters and international business
