We’re currently hiring for the position of Human Resources Hiring Specialist for our Home Office in Louisville, KY.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Meet physical and sensory requirements stated below, and be able to work in the described environment.
Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the work environment.
Receive signed consent forms from facility and maintain with record.
Initiate background checks and review all completed background checks for flagged concerns; discuss and resolve possibly disqualifying offenses with the legal department.

Confirm in Ultipro that rehires are eligible for re-employment; discuss concerning rehires with facility before proceeding.

Launch onboarding documents to new candidates and ensure timely follow up with a candidate when a candidate when onboarding has not been completed.

Pull licenses, abuse registry, and any other state-specific credentialing for new hires, ensuring that all credentialing is complete.

Communicate directly with facilities to notify them when a new hire’s background or credentialing is problematic. Work directly with facilities to coordinate adjustments to start dates if required.
Maintain direct line of communication with background check vendor, working to expedite and resolve lingering background checks and alerting Director when issues or concerns with turnaround times need review.
Process hires through Ultipro, ensuring accurate data entry and timely turnaround.
Attach new hire documents to Ultipro record.
Add any required licenses to Ultipro.
Follow up with facility as needed to confirm I-9 and e-Verify compliance.
Serve as point of contact within a region for all hiring and onboarding questions and issue resolution.
Partner with regional team to communicate challenges and issues; proactively identify solutions to help improve performance and/or processes
Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related healthcare work experience.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet navigation, and social media technology.
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
Flexible hours may be required.
Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
