Associate’s degree in Business or related field. Three years of experience with day-to-day facility operations which would include: building maintenance, event supervision, and staff training. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Oversee the day-to-day operations of Johnson Coliseum
Coordinate all front of house operations such as concession stands, retail, ticketing and guest services. Coordinate event logistics with a large variety of campus user groups and organizations. Coordinate all hiring, training and evaluation of student staff. Assist with facility booking and reservations. Coordinate all related marketing, surveys and event promotions. Will serve in the capacity of event manager when required.
Must be able to communicate and work well with all contracted services, equipment vendors, maintenance personnel, custodial services and co-workers within the Department. Responsible for all building supplies and communication with housekeeping for the building. Qualified candidates must be willing to attend conferences and workshops to sharpen and strengthen work skills pertaining to the job and overall performance.
