Job Description:
The Position

Greenstone is seeking a professional and goal-oriented Professional Services Consultant to be a part of our current Greenstone team. The Implementation Consultant will travel to customer sites to install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide training for Greenstone’s software solutions.

Job Duties

Travel to customer locations for the purpose of installing, configuring, and training of Greenstone solutions.
Ability to engage with agribusiness customers to understand business pain points, workflow and suggest process and technology improvements in a consultative manner.
Provide training and assistance via the phone\Internet during times when you are not traveling
Responsible for testing the software and connected hardware. This will require ability to create systematic and analytical approaches to test environments.
Display willingness to assist other associates as need to help configure and troubleshoot systems
Must comply with best practice procedures, as well as be an integral team member to help determine best practices
Provide effective customer service and available for providing support during the evenings and weekends
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Prior experience working as a consultant or implementation specialist, or as a customer stakeholder during a software solution deployment
Experience in the Agriculture industry and/or experience with Agri-business software required.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Project Management role
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in line with business objectives
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on their own initiative
Preferred, but not required, prior demonstrated ability to lead and motivate consultants or customer support teams.
Home-based with 65 – 75% travel. Must live close to a major airport or be willing to drive to one.

Good to have, but we are willing to train:
The position requires someone who can “connect” with others to create a learning experience under difficult or change management situations. Verbal communications, empathy, patience, and the ability to work effectively with adult learners is a must.
Effectively and concisely assist customers with varying levels of computer skills in person and over the phone. Train, coach and mentor end users. Public speaking in small groups or one-on-one.
