ExtraHop gives security and networking teams visibility into how their applications are performing, how long requests are taking, and when errors are occurring. We've built network monitoring capabilities that can process 100 Gbps of data. Our remote analysis service processes over one terabyte per hour.

What does cloud infrastructure at ExtraHop look like?
ExtraHop’s SaaS infrastructure is primarily built on AWS, but also includes GCP and Azure. The technologies that the team uses include Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python to provision and manage customer resources on a greenfield product. We were among the premium technology partners who worked with AWS on their traffic mirroring solution to build our SaaS platform. Our goal is to build a stable platform for customer-facing services while encouraging healthy work-life balance via automated remediation and fault-tolerant designs.
2 - 4 years of experience in software engineering
Excellent engineering chops
Solid knowledge of Go, Python, or an equivalent programming language
Self-starter with a strong problem-solving track record and ability to grow and learn
Excellent communicator and collaborator who can iterate quickly
Strong knowledge of AWS technologies (RDS / S3 / SQS / EC2)
Experience around container and related technologies (Kubernetes / Docker / HashiCorp - Packer, Vault, and Terraform).
Experience with building and scaling distributed, highly available systems
Experience with cloud services on GCP or Azure
