The annual compensation package will range from $47k - $52k. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and performance of the duties outlined below. This is an hourly position with bonus opportunities (minimum bonus guaranteed during training), paid vacation, and an employee discount. As the Customer Service Coordinator, some of your duties and responsibilities will require you to:

  • Efficiently schedule and oversee a team of approximately 35 people, including Supervisors, Leads, and Associates
  • Ensure all direct reports have what they need in order to succeed in their roles
  • Deploy personnel where needed, when needed to ensure customers receive efficient, friendly service
  • Maintain company protocols, checklists, and logs while working to continually improve your department
  • Proactively identify and eliminate any barriers to a customer enjoying their shopping experience
  • Submit daily communication and weekly reports to the Customer Service Support Manger & Director of Customer Service
  • Ensure all direct reports adhere to company policies (e.g. cash handling, uniform, etc.), and act in agreement with our company culture.
  • Ensure new hires to the CS department receive prescribed training and meet minimum standards within their first 90 days
  • Administer and document reprimands and coaching to direct reports who do not meet company standards, and rewarding positive notations to employees showing outstanding teamwork and performance
  • Build, develop, and improve your team so that effectiveness and efficiency increase over time

Freshfields Farm is a unique, growing retailer that sells only the freshest produce and meat. You'll have the opportunity to impress customers while working alongside some of the hardest-working, most creative people in the fresh produce and meat business. Successful applicants will be personable, highly organized, creative, teachable, and resilient. All applicants must have full availability to work weekends, and be able to work an average of 47 hours per week (usually falling sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.).

A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from a four-year college or university, one (1) year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Computer skills are a must. The strongest candidates will have a background in store operations and work scheduling.
