Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of investigations experience conducting investigations in a private sector/public sector environment.
8 years of experience managing investigators who conduct investigations including performance management, case efficiency and tracking.

Preferred qualifications:
Investigative/Interview Certification through a national or internationally recognized organization
1 year of experience conducting diverse investigations ranging from workplace violence, threat mitigation, financial crimes, corrupt practices, thefts, and insider threat.
Ability to speak and write in Spanish, Chinese or Portuguese fluently and idiomatically.
About the job
The Global Investigations team investigates a variety of case types to support the business and other stakeholders ranging from intellectual property investigations, violence between employees to violations of policies that impact user confidence as well as the safety, security and integrity of the company. As the Global Investigations Lead, you will lead the investigations team to assess and mitigate threats to company assets and personnel. You are comfortable conducting complex investigations with minimal supervision and guiding a team of investigators to do so as well. You will supervise a team of internal investigators who investigate a variety of case types.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Supervise a team of investigators; increase efficiency across the investigations team to increase scope of impact.
Investigate possible violations of Google's Security/HR/Finance policies, Code of Conduct or other business conditions and provide appropriate reports to management summarizing the findings.
Conduct audits and other research to identify process deficiencies which could allow inappropriate business conduct and recommend protocols and policies to address those weaknesses.
Develop strong relationships with domestic and international law enforcement and government counterparts, as well as private sector peers worldwide.
Monitor and QA investigative work product and reports.
