JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the administration and direct application of audiology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Evaluates, plans, directs, and treats all patients referred for audiology treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assists patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability. Provides departmental and nursing staff instruction on aspects of audiology as necessary. Assists in scheduling of patient visits for audiology evaluation and treatment. Participates in infection control, safety, and educational programs, both in the department and on an organizational basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Holds Masters Degree in Audiology or Communicative Disorders.

Current State Audiology License includes a license to dispense hearing aids

Certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

Performance of technical skills related to Audiology.

Current BCLS certification.

At least three years of clinical experience
