Job profile:
Hempel (USA), Inc. is seeking an experienced Account Manager II to maintain existing customers and generate new customers within the San Francisco, CA area, in accordance with the action plans and strategies for the region. This role will have a focus in the Neogard (Civil Construction & Infrastructure) segment from the world’s longest bridges to skyscrapers, airports, sports stadia and cargo terminals.

Key responsibilities:
Maintain existing customer base in the San Francisco area.
Pursue sales leads in assigned specific area/customer group; visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization
Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Respond to customer inquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and accounts and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met.
Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans.Prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
Develop territory assigned forecast and demand planning.
Meet set sales revenue targets.
Communicate across multiple teams for new product development and customer needs (i.e., Marketing, Customer Service, R&D, Technical Service).
Grow assigned territory/customer group.

Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience (min 4)
3 - 5 years of sales experience in related industry
Ability to travel (50%)
NACE 1 strongly preferred
CRM or similar
Microsoft Suite
