Job Description Summary:

True Auto LLC is currently seeking an automotive mechanical-breakdown claims adjusters for their call-center environment in Fort Worth, TX. The VSC Claims Adjuster provides accurate claims adjudication while delivering customer service excellence in a call center environment. This is established through contract interpretation, identification of mechanical failures, adherence to established processes, and successful negotiation of repair costs. Additionally, the VSC Claims Adjuster will assist dealerships, contract holders, and business partners with questions and concerns about contract coverage, procedure, and technical assistance.

Responsibilities:

Follow all service processes in place, including: claim eligibility, parts and labor verification, negotiation, claim authorization and denial, claim inspections, and customer service. Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate proposals to team members and manager. Assist with training activities as required. Strive to continuously improve service levels and customer service experiences utilizing process improvement methodology. Provide coverage and procedure inquiry support to Agents, Dealerships, and Service Contract Holders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Mechanic or service advisor experience in a dealership preferred
  • VSC Claims Adjuster positions require 3+ years automotive repair and/or warranty experience.
  • Other related education or experience may be considered in combination with a minimum of 1 year of automotive repair and/or warranty experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand automotive service contract and/or insurance coverage; multi-task; strong organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communications skills; strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly; resolving questions or issues for customers in sometimes difficult situations.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical failures, parts and labor repair costs, experience in interpreting contracts and coverage.
  • Good negotiation skills with the ability to make decisions with little or no supervision.
  • Takes initiative, self-starter, and team player.
  • Creative problem solver, results oriented, strong analytical skills.
  • Proven experience achieving high quality results in a continuous changing environment.
