Order Processing Representative
Introduction:
Paragon Controls Incorporated manufactures airflow and pressure sensing elements, transducers, room pressure monitoring systems, and control systems for clients worldwide in the commercial ventilation, laboratory, healthcare, pharmaceutical, power, semiconductor, waste water treatment and various other light and heavy industrial markets.
Purpose:
Under general supervision, performs complex administrative coordination activities associated with the receipt, booking, and processing of sales orders.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Receive sales orders from customers, sales staff, or representatives via email.
- Review orders for correct price, product code, required production information, ship to, bill to, quantity, delivery, routing required, and the like.
- Ascertain missing data such as required production information, ship to, bill to, quantity, delivery, routing required, and the like.
- Complete and maintains associated records, documents, and logs such as work order log and production submittals.
- Prepare responses to request for quotations using standard price and delivery terms.
- Coordinate with customers regarding order status, ship dates, prices, availability, back order, and the like.
- Contact other company departments to coordinate and resolve customer order problems.
- Maintain records related to customer satisfaction.
- Provide sales support to Outside Sales, Manufacturers Representatives, and Distribution Partners
- Respond to and qualify new incoming leads generated by website
- Operate a variety of general business machines and equipment such as a personal computer, copier, phone, or other similar machines.
Requirements:
- Superior phone etiquette and ability to deal effectively with internal or external customers, peers and management
- Strong ability to review and comprehend customers sales agreements, proposals, purchase orders and related information
- Excellent data entry skills to quickly and accurately review and input data
- Proficiency in MS Office software products (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Strong organization skills to keep track of transactions and follow-up with many customers in parallel
- Must be a self-starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, phone and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work focus
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment efficiently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
