We are adding a Project Architect to our staff. This position offers competitive pay, bonus opportunity, and relocation assistance. This position must office in Eagan, Minnesota. The Project Architect will be responsible for bringing forth the creative vision, technical knowledge, problem solving savvy and team communication necessary to move our real estate development projects from concept through completion. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have architectural design and construction management experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lead and present architectural concepts and plans with confidence.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, developing, coordinating and execution of medium to large-scale projects that are complex in nature under limited supervision.
  • Responsible for all technical components related to projects such as building codes, envelope detailing, and overall constructability.
  • Lead production of the schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
  • Write and edit architectural specifications.
  • Incorporate changes into project documents.
  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders including consultants, city officials, etc.
  • Ensure the most efficient and cost effective execution of assigned projects and intended designs.
  • Manage the construction administration of assigned projects.
  • Perform construction inspections and project payment certifications.

Position Requirements

  • Must have a degree in architecture.
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of design experience.
  • Must have a state architect's license.
  • Experience in senior and multi-housing preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
  • Must be able to travel as needed (approximately 15%).
