Business Integration is responsible for recommending, organizing, planning and managing projects and programs to effectively integrate business operations and achieve committed results.
The Project Manager will be a critical member of the Project Management Office (PMO) team within Strategy and Business Development Team. PMO is responsible for the design, implementation, reporting and managing of the integration process for acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, including organizing, planning and managing integration projects and / or programs to effectively integrate business operations and achieve committed results. The PMO will also lead and manage end-to-end non-integration projects by delivering on organizational requirements while driving the successful achievement of all targeted and subsequently identified synergistic / financial opportunities to increase shareholder value and bring cumulative value to the organization.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
Assists in the management of a wide variety of projects, understanding the concepts, principles, and technical requirements for execution
Assists in presenting updates to the executive team on the status of projects
Assists PMO, functional leaders and transition / functional leaders in developing and implementing plans in the integration processes
Aligns new concepts, technologies, and products with stakeholder requirements to address business challenges
Leads teams / projects / solutions / work activities across the business, functions, and multiple areas to benefit the organization; builds relationships and fosters teamwork; effectively leverages diversity to provide the benefit of different perspectives
Works to understand complex functional situations by paying attention to the details of the tasks at hand and by breaking them down into smaller, coherent pieces
Capable of recommending new practices, processes, metrics, or models; documents appropriately for Integration benchmarking and playbooks
Demonstrates knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes
BS degree required
Prefer 2 to 4 years of mergers & acquisitions experience or cross-functional experience in Enterprise Information Technology, Operations and other applicable segment experience
Ability to be highly organized and manage through multiple work streams and projects
Ability to operate within a flexible staffing model
Highly adept at meeting facilitation
Highly effective interpersonal skills, including working with teams
Ability to influence without always having direct authority
Prefer experience with managing vendor contracting
Strong experience with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Prefer 3 to 5 years of experience working on IT projects including help desk tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, JIRA Service Desk, etc.
Prefer 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment with clinicians
