QVC has an engaging opportunity for students to work with the eCommerce team at our Studio Park (West Chester, PA) location. This is a hands-on position offering great insight into QVC's business. The eCommerce team is critical in creating a streamlined and integrated approach to support our multichannel business. The team works to maximize eCommerce strategies, creative direction, platforms, and promotional messaging for brands and individual items. Our team's key objectives include optimizing multichannel resources, communicating support strategies to key stakeholders, and to learn from successes and challenges.
Spring interns run from January until April. Must be able to commit to 20 hours/week & you must be either a junior, senior, or grad student. Recent grads will not be considered.
Job Description Details
Under the general supervision of the Manager, eCommerce, the successful candidate will:
Assist in all phases of eCommerce daily tasks
Complete product ranking and class updates for QVC.com
Complete Seasonal marketing updates for QVC.com
Collect and organize data into spreadsheets and presentations
Become proficient in maintenance programs and information systems
Develop an understanding of business processes and flows to deliver items, data, etc on-time to drive sales
Work with merchandise teams as well as vendors to obtain content, images and assets for items being built for the digital platforms
QA website daily
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University. Recent grads will not be considered for any internship at QVC per our policy
Must be able to work 20 hours per week
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word applications
Completed at least four (4) semesters of college from the following majors: Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, Ecommerce
