Loc Performance is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Human Resource Director to join our Human Resources Department!

The HR Director plans and implements strategy for HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, training and development, morale and motivation, culture, performance appraisals and quality management systems.

DUTIES

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Human Resource Department. Strategically carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervises the staff of the human resource department.
Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.

Maintains records of benefits, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.

Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the COO, on personnel matters.
Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.
Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.

Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

Establish salary guidelines for hiring and performance evaluations for each job within the organization
Provide recruiting and hiring support by developing recruitment plans and implementing activities such as internal communication, placement of ads; reviewing resumes, conducting screening interviews, administer tests, and background checks.

Develop staff orientation programs

Collaborate with management and staff to drive workforce planning initiatives within divisions and department teams.

Development and management of workplace safety programs- at all facilities and show-site operations and overall environmental conditional
Develop and manage all safety programs as well as accident reporting
Ensure adherence of OSHA rules and regulations
Manages all workers compensation claims and represents the company at workers compensation hearings as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent and four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Human Resource systems; Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
