Art Teacher Job Description:
· Plan, develop and implement art and art history curriculum to meet learning goals following the Archdiocese of Denver Office of Catholic Schools Art Standards
· Purchase art materials and maintain the inventory of art materials
· Prepare and arrange art materials and art equipment in the classroom for students to use
· Deliver lectures to students on art, art techniques, and art history
· Assign art projects to students, grade the finished art projects, conduct art exams and maintain records of the students' progress
· Organize art exhibitions to display the artworks of students
· Support the school administration in developing art programs, attend faculty meetings and participate in parent-teacher conferences
Music Teacher Job Description:
· Plan, develop and implement music and music history curriculum to meet learning goals following the Archdiocese of Denver Office of Catholic Schools Music Standards
· Purchase music materials and maintain the inventory of music materials
· Prepare and arrange music materials and equipment in the classroom for students to use
· Deliver lectures to students on music and music history
· Assign music projects to students, grade music projects, conduct music exams and maintain records of the students' progress
· Organize music performances of students
· Support the school administration in developing music programs, attend faculty meetings and participate in parent-teacher conferences
Qualifications for a Teacher:
· Bachelor’s degree and State of Colorado Teacher Licensure
· Demonstrable knowledge of subject curriculum and the ability to implement it
· Ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and administration
· Excellent oral and written skills
· Confident in leading a classroom of students
· Able to pass a drug test, fingerprint, and local background check
· Strong organizational skills
· Able to lift 25-50 pounds multiple times a day
· Able to thrive working in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,638.00 - $53,029.00 per year
