The Global Senior Marketing Manager will participate in the creation of the overall commercial and new product development strategy for RECOTHROM of the Advanced Surgery Business. This includes life cycle management, pricing strategies and the overall financial health of the brand.
Further, the role includes responsibility for the Advanced Surgery Advantage Program. This data-driven program presents hospitals with opportunities to identify improvement in clinical and financial outcomes through implementation and use of Baxter’s Hemostat & Sealant products. This presents a unique opportunity to support overall commercial strategy of the program as well as collaboration across multiple brands and cross-functional team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Global Senior Marketing Manager will partner closely with their cross-functional team and marketing leader as follows:
Develop Global long-range plans (LRP) and investment plan
Establish the global value proposition and evidence strategy to maximize market adoption including support of new product development related activities
Understand competitive landscape, integrate business needs into the product and ensure desired claims are in marketing plan.
Develop RECOTHROM strategy including the product roadmap and lifecycle management
Develop comprehensive marketing plans including value proposition, messaging, key claims, customer segmentation and targeting, pricing strategy and evidence-based strategy
Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Market Access, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Regional Marketing
Prepare forecasts and short-range budgets for product lines
Content development and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Advanced Surgery Advantage
Drive global roll-out and introduction of program to new markets
Support on-going execution in key markets to integrate learnings
Develop new program content and tools for internal and external stakeholders
Conduct VOC, specifically financial stakeholders, to gain insight to develop economic messaging and positioning of portfolio
Integrate brand messaging and value proposition into program content
Develop key metrics and dashboards for reporting
Strong results orientation and analytical skills.
Upstream marketing including new product development preferred
Experience in conducting successful market research, pricing and reimbursement, customer advocacy development, creative product/program development, messaging and branding.
Strong organization and management skills, able to drive performance and consistently deliver on commitments
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working collaboratively with individuals across multiple functional areas of the business
Experience with Qualitative and Competitive analysis
Bachelor's degree required ; Masters degree preferred
5 years of marketing experience; health-care/medical device industry experience required
Customer facing experience with surgeons preferred
HEOR related or market access experience preferred
Ability to travel up to 30% at times (including some international travel)
