Corporate legal department seeks virtual Legal Assistant with demonstrated experience in real estate transactions, business, entity and corporate matters. Successful candidate must be reside in Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix, AZ.
Experience with complex business real estate transactions REQUIRED as well as working knowledge of terms and basic concepts essential. Familiarity with Secretary of State site, and other filing requirements (i.e. Department of Real Estate) necessary. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016, especially Word and Outlook.
Duties include document preparation and assembly, drafting correspondence, electronic filing, meeting scheduling, and maintenance of entity corporate books and records. The majority of tasks assigned via dictation (voice transcription) resulting in preparation of a wide variety of real estate, transactional and corporate work. Heavy and complex documentation preparation and assembly is involved.
The successful candidate must possess 5 years minimum experience in law firm or legal department, be proven to be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess superior organization skills.
The corporate legal department handles a wide variety of real estate matters with fluctuating deadlines, necessitating the successful candidate to be able to maintain multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, while being adaptable to frequently changing circumstances and priorities.
Dependable, honest and pleasant attitude a must. Ability to work with little supervision imperative. All hardware and software provided and maintained at the Company's cost and installed in the candidate's secure and distraction free environment.
General schedule M-Th 7.5 hours F 3 hours, flexible.
Pay commensurate with experience.
