Summary

Qualified candidates for this position will provide customer service support
such as pricing, availability and backlog reporting plus help with product
selection and application guidance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide inside customer support for a sales territory and/or
collection of key accounts

  • Primary customer contact for order management and sales
inquiries

  • Generate quotes and proposals, assist in product recommendations
  • Work with other functions to manage the customer order backlog,
expedite orders, and recover late orders

  • Manage expectations between customers and the company on lead
times, expedites, and availability

  • Review, enter and acknowledge purchase orders
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in inside sales and/or customer
service

  • Highly organized and personable
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with ERP systems – preferably Oracle
  • Able to communicate effectively in a variety of ways – phone,
email, etc.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
