Product Specialist

Our market leading products are seen is diverse applications from cement making to chocolate manufacturing, subway trains to power stations, escalators to quarries – anywhere something needs to be lifted, moved, rotated or conveyed.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
To oversee, and promote product lines within the North and South American markets. Perform all duties assigned by the Sales Manager and maintain a high level of Customer Service both by telephone and customer visits.
- To achieve Order, Sales and Margin targets for the Product Groups
- To ensure the prompt and professional follow up of enquiries / proposals
- To identify / qualify potential opportunities to develop sales
- To work closely with all Direct Representatives and Agents
- To support the sales network with reps and Agents through customer visits, presentations and training
- To liase / work with Engineering on all relevant issues
- Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes useable features
- Assist the user with product design, selection, and problem solving
- Prepares reports as necessary including expense reports
- Works with customer service representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date

Responsibilities:

- Coordinates customer training.
- Develops and maintains relationships with decision makers
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries
- Works as a team member to achieve the goals of the company
- Attends trade shows
Formal Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four year college or university, and/or equivalent work experience and education.
IV. Formal Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of Power Transmission or a related Industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
