Immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Manufacturing Quality Technicians to support our Facility at Ryder in Jeffersonville, IN

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible to give support to manufacturing areas for customization, recertification, refurbish, return, bundling, rebox, kitting and rework.

Warehouse positions Pay Weekly

Consistent pay: $22.18 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Requirements: Technical degree of mechanical/electrical or 2 years experience working in manufacturing as a Technician. Previous experience using a Multimeter diagnostic tool, SAP and Manhattan Scale experience preferred, Excel skills required

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:
- Create and updated work instructions for the areas responsible.
- Create new TLI configuration cards and run Pilots on these units
- Use databases and use the SAP, Enovia, and Manhattan scale programs
- Supply any fixtures for manufacturing, rework and projects.
- Modify the bill of material
- Perform time studies and balance the manufacturing systems.
- Perform parts verifications for Southaven site
- Performing audits on the ESD process
- Working directly with customer Lexmark on special projects

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates customer service skills.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed.
Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.
